SHIPPING INFORMATION

Delivery of the products

To ensure a fast and safe delivery we use FedEx, DHL, USPS, & UPS Ground/Air shipping services. Available shipping methods may vary for different types of products and shipping destinations. Once shipping is confirmed, it will be set for pickup by the carrier. Some products in stock ship same day, or within 1 business day after which its delivery can be tracked via tracking number sent to your email. There are other products which require more time, generally due to physical location, carrier or warehouse accessibility, and other economic conditions (i.e. delay at the border, pandemic, etc.) Shipping can be tracked via tracking number. For custom or made to order items shipping time varies dramatically as they may have to be manufactured, painted, modified, embroidered, or assembled.

Please read the following points: -

  • Products that are oversized must ship truck freight / LTL which differs from ground shipments. NOTE: These oversized items require inspection and a signature upon delivery. For more information on freight shipping click here.
  • Shipments to HI, AK, PR, APOs, Guam, & Virgin Islands might require extra shipping charges.
  • Shipments to Canada as well as all other international destinations are subject to additional shipping charges which may not be captured until after the order has been placed. It is the recipient's responsibility to pay all applicable duties, taxes, & brokerage fees. Detailed Info can be found here.

Shipping Charges

For orders delivered within the continental US where the reason for return is based on the customer No longer needing or wanting the product, Purchasing the wrong product where the description is proper, or Providing any reason which isn't a result of a Auto Parts AvenueThe cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the table below:

As it concerns products requiring freight, LTL shipping, or international & non-continental US shipping, while returns are accepted, note that the shipping charges will be reduced in an amount based on the estimate from the shipping carrier, which may be substantially higher than the costs outlined above. As such, it may result in the shipping costs exceeding the costs of the product. Also, note that coordinating the return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. In the event an error is made by Auto Parts Avenue, a return shipping label will be provided.

Order Acceptance

The receipt of an e-mail order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Parts Geek, LLC, reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.

Package not delivered but tracking ID shows “Package Delivered”

Please be aware that we are not liable for any losses incurred as a result of packages being left unattended while you are away. It is your obligation to ensure that someone is present when the package is delivered. You can reach out to us by dialling (888) 520-2490. You will not be compensated for freight or parts if the shipper leaves your package unsigned or signs it falsely and it is lost. We can, however, make a claim with the specific carrier for lost or damaged goods, but their decision is purely based on their information and findings. To begin, look around your property for any packages that may have been hidden. Second, inquire with your neighbours to discover whether your box was delivered to their homes by mistake. If you are still unable to locate the box, you should contact the delivery company, who should return the driver to your home within 24 hours. If the driver is unable to locate the package, a claim with the shipping company will be filed. It takes about 30 days to settle a claim. While your claim is being processed, we are not responsible for any lost orders. Until your claim is resolved, any replacement components will have to be reordered.

What based on product parts

Most of our parts (but not all) come with a one year warranty excluding wear and tear items. Depending on the type of product you purchased, you may also have an extended warranty if you purchased one. Please also refer to the manufacturer information that was included with your product for additional information. If your part fails we will issue you an RMA number to return the product. Faulty parts and improperly installed parts return decisions are left up to the particular manufacturers' rules and regulations. We process the return for you by accepting the part and then forward the part directly to the manufacturer for final approval. Installation of auto parts should be handled by a Certified Automotive Technician, and you should maintain a copy of the repair order after the repair is completed for your records. Especially, with items such as ECM's, A/C Compressors, Receiver Dryers, etc. where misdiagnosis and/or installation can easily damage a part. Remember, that having a certified technician install a part does not necessarily mean it was properly installed, but it will eliminate more of the common errors. On occasion, we may ask for the original repair order and other documentation regarding the repair to be sent to us in order to process the return. If your part is found to be defective you will receive a full refund. All replacement items must be re-purchased. We do not send out free replacements.

Was your shipment damaged?

If your shipment was damaged, please do not use the return form below. Instead, contact “Auto Parts Avenue” customer service and we’ll issue a claim to get it taken care of as fast as possible.

How We Ship

Most orders ship by FedEx. Please review the Shipping & Handling Chart for shipping costs. Due to regulations, oversize & overweight packages may be subject to additional shipping surcharges. Small items may ship via US Postal Service. Some oversized items ship by Truck Freight. If you want to receive merchandise faster, several optional Express methods of shipment are available at an additional cost. We often ship from multiple locations throughout the US to give you better and more economical service.

Methods of Payment

Payment can be made by American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, Money Order or Personal Check. Payments made with Temporary Checks from your account will be held up to 21 days for clearance before shipping. All Store Credits expire 24 months from date of issue.

Back Orders

Because we are a Master Warehouse Distributor we carry a huge amount of inventory. Sometimes, however, an item will be in short supply. You will be notified if an order cannot ship in a timely manner. Except for Special Orders and some Drop Shipments we will not charge your credit card for orders which have not been shipped.

We delve into customer satisfaction.

If you are not totally satisfied with one of our goods, you may return it for a hassle-free refund of the purchase price within 30 days of the date of sale. We just ask that the product not be used, damaged, or lacking any parts or paperwork from the manufacturer. Shipping charges are not included in refunds.Auto Parts Avenue will only pay for shipping on the outgoing replacement goods when exchanging damaged products. Special order or out-of-stock items are specifically exempt from this policy and will be subject to a restocking fee. Please contact beforehand for a Return Authorization Number or use the return form on the back of your invoice for faster processing. For easy identification, write your name and order number on the package, and insure any returns for your safety. Please keep in mind that we do not cover the costs of returning items.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift Certificates (and unused portions of Gift Certificates) are valid for five (5) years from date of issue for future purchases.

Merchandise Credits Policy

Merchandise Credits are non-transferable. Merchandise Credits cannot be used to purchase gift certificates. Merchandise Credits are valid for two (2) years from date of issue.

Low price policy.

Auto Parts Avenue will match a competitors delivered price, which will include shipping and tax, for the same brand product as long as it is from an authorized distributor, the product is in stock and the price can be verified in a current catalog, web site or advertisement. The pricing match guarantee will not apply to items listed from auction web sites, or listed as clearance, closeout, discontinued, second, scratch and dent or are priced incorrectly in the authorized distributor's catalog, website or ad. The price match guarantee can not be based on club or membership discounts or group buys and cannot be combined with any other offers.

  • Due to certain manufacturer pricing policies we cannot discount certain products manufactured by Edge, Superchips, MSD, AEV, Bushwacker, Mopar and Warn.

Damaged Shipments

All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. Obviously damaged packages should be refused. If your damaged shipment was delivered by UPS, please call 1 (800) 742-5877 and report the damage. If your damaged shipment was delivered by Truck Freight, please contact the freight carrier at the phone number on the carrier's bill. After contacting the carrier, please call Auto Parts Avenue Customer Service at 800-745-6037 for further assistance with the damaged shipment, and to make arrangements for a replacement.

Exceptions & Exclusions

Freight, international & non-continental US core returns are accepted, however coordination of return shipping is the responsibility of the client. In the event an error is made by Auto Parts Avenue, a return shipping label will be provided. Core Deposit Returns for Power Stop Brakes are handled directly by this manufacturer.

Damaged or Defective Item(s)

If your product is broken or defective when it arrives, please notify us right away so we can send you a replacement at no additional cost. Please don't try to replace a damaged part with something less than what you paid for. There are a few crucial points to remember:
For possible courier pickup/inspection, products must be in their original packaging (please do not assemble, install, or modify the product in any way).

Technical & Fitment Issues

If you are having trouble installing your item, or the product does not seem to be fitting your vehicle, please let us know. Our Customer Care specialists will gladly assist you in installing your product.

Lost Shipment

We want you to get your product as quickly as possible. If you have not received your merchandise, but your tracking number indicates that it has been delivered; please contact us and a replacement will be processed within 72 business hours. We'll cover the cost of the new product and handle the claim with the courier.

Lost Package Claims in 3 Easy Steps: Double Check (Couriers occasionally leave items in hidden locations to prevent them from being stolen, or damaged by weather. Take a look around - ask your neighbors, roommates, or family members to make sure that the package was not left somewhere close by.)

Tax

Taxes are imposed by Canada Customs on goods worth more than $20.00 CAD. Depending on the location, a Goods and Service Tax (GST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) may be required at the time of delivery; rates range from 5% to 15%. Your order will be accompanied with a Commercial Invoice. It will include all of the information required for a proper tax assessment.

Duty and Tariffs

The average duty for goods imported into Canada is 8.56% but can vary from 0%-35% depending on the type of products and the country of origin. For additional information about the duty on a particular item please contact the Canadian Border Information Service Hotline at 1-800-461-9999.

Brokerage and/or Handling Fees

Brokerage and Handling charges are incurred when a third party imports a product into Canada for you. These fees are collected by the courier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS/Canada Post,) not by Auto Parts Avenue or the Canadian government.

So, you love Auto Parts Avenue, but you found a product on another site for less. Don't panic. We'll match prices listed from any competitor's website or other reputable source. There's no rush either; if you find your product listed for less within one year of purchase, we'll refund the difference.
